1. Introduction
By accessing this website or booking any rafting tour, river expedition, transportation service, equipment rental, or related activity (hereinafter referred to as the “Tour”) with Peruvian Rafting Company Sociedad Comercial de Responsabilidad Limitada (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our website or services.
2. Company Information
Peruvian Rafting Company S.R.L. is a legally registered tourism and river transport operator in Peru under RUC No. 20615213650, with its fiscal domicile in Santa María, District of Maranura, Province of La Convención, Department of Cusco.
The Company operates rafting tours, adventure river expeditions, passenger river transportation, and related tourism services in accordance with Peruvian law.
3. Bookings and Confirmation
A reservation is considered confirmed once the Company issues written confirmation and receives the required deposit.
All personal information provided by the client must be accurate and complete. The Company reserves the right to cancel any booking if false or incomplete information is provided.
Participants may be required to present valid identification before the start of any service.
Deposits are required to secure reservations and are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The remaining balance must be paid before the commencement of the Tour.
4. Payments
Payments may be made in cash or through authorized electronic payment methods.
The Company reserves the right to apply service or transaction fees depending on the selected payment method.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice until a reservation is confirmed.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable.
If a participant cancels after confirming a booking, cancellation fees may apply depending on the proximity to the departure date and operational commitments already made by the Company.
No refunds will be granted for:
No-shows
Voluntary abandonment of the Tour
Failure to meet physical requirements
Late arrival
We strongly recommend that all clients obtain travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and unforeseen events.
6. Modifications and Operational Changes
The Company reserves the right to modify itineraries, schedules, or specific services when necessary due to safety considerations, weather conditions, river levels, technical requirements, or events beyond its control.
Safety is the primary concern of the Company, and all operational decisions are made accordingly.
7. Health and Physical Condition
Rafting and adventure activities involve physical effort and exposure to natural environments.
Participants confirm that they are in adequate physical condition to participate and must inform the Company of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or physical limitations prior to the Tour.
The Company reserves the right to refuse participation if a participant’s condition may pose a risk to themselves or others.
All participants may be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the start of the activity.
8. Assumption of Risk
Rafting and river expeditions involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
River currents
Uneven terrain
Weather changes
Slippery surfaces
Remote environments
By participating in any Tour, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume these risks.
9. Limitation of Liability
Peruvian Rafting Company S.R.L. will take all reasonable measures to provide safe and professional services. However, the Company shall not be held responsible for:
Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
Injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions
Delays or cancellations caused by force majeure events
Actions of third parties
Participants are fully responsible for their personal belongings and are encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance coverage.
10. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, or modification caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, political instability, transportation disruptions, or extreme weather conditions.
11. Media and Promotional Use
During Tours, photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes.
By participating, clients grant the Company permission to use such media unless written notice is provided prior to the Tour.
12. Responsible Tourism Commitment
Peruvian Rafting Company S.R.L. operates under responsible tourism principles and strictly rejects any illegal activity, including the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, in accordance with Peruvian legislation.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru.
Any dispute arising from the use of the website or participation in Company services shall be subject to Peruvian jurisdiction.
